Worm Disco Club is a Bristol-based collective of DJs, event promoters and music diggers, bringing together global sounds, Afro-funk, Brazilian rhythms, cosmic soul, cumbia and future jazz. Alongside organising events and festival stages, the collective runs its own record label, Worm Discs, hosts radio shows and creates spaces for discovering and celebrating eclectic music and culture.

Worm Disco Club partnered with independent Bristol brewery Arbor Ales for a summer day party, bringing together music, food, live art, live drumming and an exclusive Arbor x Worm beer.

Working from the event artwork created by Patch the Keys – posters and bier labels –, alongside Worm Disco Club and Arbor’s existing visual identities, I was commissioned to create a series of social media reels to promote the event. I first developed a storyboard, then selected the music and brought the concept to life through video editing and motion graphics.

Worm Disco Club also collaborated with independent Bristol brewery Wiper and True on their Evening Al Fresco series — a summer programme of free Friday nights featuring some of Bristol’s finest DJs and selectors, from disco and dub to tropical sounds and UK garage.

Based on the event artwork, I was commissioned to create a social media reel to promote the series, giving people a glimpse of what to expect
